Gamecock Spirit Friday was founded in 2009 to bring Gamecocks, alumni, and fans together to unite as one. Every Friday, as a sign of respect to the University and our teams, we wear Garnet and Black to remind us of the success of both the Academic program as well as the Athletic Program.
Mission
- Impart solidarity in the Gamecock Community.
- Establish a legacy that supports The University's athletics and academic mission.
- Encourage giving, volunteerism, retention, and enrollment that only Gamecocks know.
